The Lazy Days of Summertime....

Since January 2005, I have spent my days with these two little men.

Niko was 3 and Michael was 3 months on my first day as their nanny.

The soon began to love their "Ms. Holly" a lot.

We have had A LOT of fun over the years.

LOTS of walks to see the horses, pick blackberry's, eating choc. chips and popcorn while watching movies, many trips to the beach and pool, catching crabs, chasing sand crabs at night, learning how to ride bikes, swim and treat ladies like butterflies.

Michael would hide my shoes in the pots and pans, and I couldn't find them for an hour.

Niko would hide my Redskins magnet in the dirt every day (because he hates them), until one day when his dad found out.

I would say, "who loves Michael" and Michael would say, "you do, Ms. Holly!!"

Lots of homework help and crazy school projects.

Football games, t-ball, wrestling and now baseball too. Niko scored 25 touchdowns last year!

When we are together they say, "remember when...", "remember when..."

LOTS of special memories with these little guys....too many to count.

They mean more to me than they will ever know.

In 2007, we welcomed a little girl into the mix, Laynie.

She is a doll.

But never will there be the bond with her that is with these two guys.

I have become more to them then their nanny, and they have become more to me then the kids I nanny.

My little brothers.

They are my little loves and my biggest cheerleaders.

They love to go to the pool!

Every summer we would spend a lot of time there!

And they are always there to smile for my camera.

They give me a lot of laughs, kisses and hugs.

They went through a lot of boyfriends with me and they were there the day I married.

BUT...

They have since grown up...

The never stop talking or asking questions.

I love everything they have to say.

I was there when Niko jumped off the little diving board when he was 5, now he can do back-flips off the big diving board.

Time flies.

They are so excited for their Ms. Holly to have babies!

Niko said, I can't wait to babysit them and Michael said he wanted to help too.

They are rooting for all boys.

They want to teach them how to fish, hunt and ride dirt bikes.

They know all the names we have picked out, and call the babies by their names already.

Niko is jealous we want to name one Michael.

Michael thinks it's the coolest thing in the world.

He says, "Ms. Holly, you will now have a Michael of your own!"

Sweet, sweet little boy.

I cannot wait to see these little guys with my little guys!

I am so blessed to have been a part of their lives, each and every year that passes.

Each and every time we are together, I cherish my time with them.

I love my lazy days of summer at the pool with them...
