9 Weeks!!
Yay, for actually posting this on Tuesday!!!!!
How Far Along: 9 Weeks
How Big are the Babies: They are each the size of green olives (one of my favorite foods), about .9 inches! Your little embryos have now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating hearts. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, the babies are kind of starting to look like... well...babies! (thebump.com).
Weight Gain: Holy cow, I just weighed myself...I have gained 4.5 pounds in one week!!!!
Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting (mostly just gaging from smells of things), sore boobies (not so much), thirsty, CONSTIPATION, headaches, some hunger and a WHOLE LOT OF FORGETTING!!!!!!!
Emotions: This week I have been feeling pretty good emotionally. Can't say I had any tough moments. Oh just remembered one, I was in the car driving to meet Tim at softball and I was listening to Carrie Underwood's CD and I love the song Play On, it had so much meaning to me when I was going through infertility treatments, and I found myself bawling through the whole song and also laughing at myself at why I was crying...oh yeah, I'm pregnant! :)
Something Funny That Happened: Hmm, the fact that I forget everything. I drove an hour for an appointment and forgot the piece of paper I needed, had to drive an hour back home, an hour back and then sit for four hours waiting, only to drive another hour home. At the grocery store, I go from aisle to aisle, forgetting everything because I see something I want, oh, I'm going to make baked ziti, oh, wait chili sounds great, nah, I'll have sausage and peppers....it's a never ending battle, and so I forget everything.
Best moment of the Week: Hearing all 3 heartbeats for the first time!!!! It was wonderful!
Movement: None...just constant stretching, cramping and pulling sensations. I guess I better get used to that. The OB said that all of the scarring from the endometriosis and my other surgeries will all stretch and it will be very uncomfortable.
Maternity Clothes: Yes, yes, and yes...even my underwear is getting too tight which makes it very uncomfortable. Guess I will be going to target to get the next size up...ah, lovely.
Stretchmarks: None yet! :) But do they sell Maderma or whatever I'm suppose to use at Costco, like in a 10 gallon bucket????? (update on that, Costco doesn't sell it, poo)
Sleep: Back and forth. Some nights are good, some aren't. But the days that I don't take naps, I am B E Y O N D exhausted!!!! And the dreams are so crazy! Up peeing every hour which makes sleeping a little tough.
Food cravings: Today, I am so craving sweet potatoes (only my grandma's and I am going to call her tomorrow and put a special request in), the other day it was taco salads, yeast rolls was one too...we had smores up at the cabin on Saturday night and I don't even care for smores that much but let me tell you, I couldn't get enough of those things!!!
Gender Predictions: I know it's going to be two girls and a boy. Tim still says "all boys"... but if it's all boys, I think I will cry. I need a little girl!!
What I Miss: Nothing, now that we cleared it with the OB! :)
What I'm Looking Forward To: Vacation in a few days...alone, quiet and peaceful, just my husband and our pooch.
Weekly Wisdom: Hmm...I don't know.
Milestone: Every week that goes by, pregnant with triplets, is a milestone!!
Question(s): I hate the idea of registering online...that is absolutely no fun for me, so where should I go? I can't seem to find everything I like at one place. Ugh, the dilemmas! :)
Here's my baby bump photo of the week...looks like in the coming weeks, I'm going to be really starting to expand quickly.
