This photo was too cute not to share. The girls love pushing their babies in their strollers around the neighborhood. It's great because they are getting exercise and it tires them out (plus Momma gets some walking in too!). We are like our own little parade. People come out of their houses to see us. No joke. Emily was a little farther behind the triplets so I couldn't get her in the photo. She was on her little car next to Daddy and I had Anna in my Baby K'tan. We love our evenings outside!
Also, the other day, I went and picked some strawberries and made this wonderful strawberry pie that I have been wanting to make for years after I saw it on Leah's blog. Picking strawberries wasn't probably the best thing to do after having a c-section only 15 days prior, but oh well, the pie was well worth the pain. Tim loved the pie too and we will be making many of these in the future. Plus, it's a super simple pie, it took literally five minutes to put together. The hard part is waiting for it to chill before eating it!

Just some photos from the last two weeks...
On Memorial Day weekend (Monday) we went over to my MIL's house to have a little BBQ. Even though it was a little cold out, the girls enjoyed playing in their sand box pool for awhile and then we brought in their new picnic table to eat on! They loved it!
Natalee helping Daddy pour some more sand in it.
Nana bought them a new picnic table! I know we will be getting a lot of use out of this!!!
They LOVE pushing the deck swing back and forth a hundred times! Their giggles are precious!
And these photos were too funny not to share. A few days later we all went for a walk around the neighborhood and the girls just looked so cute I had to take some photos of them. Emily had her hair up for the first time. They had no intentions of standing still since we were all ready to leave.
And here are all FIVE on our walk...
We've now been to the park twice (two days in a row) since Anna has been born. I must say, I pretty proud of myself taking all five by myself. But really, I swear it's easier now with five then it was with four while pregnant. I fell like I have so much more energy and we can enjoy life again.
I'm so looking forward to having a fun summer with all my little ladies!

Anna-Kate: The first 2 weeks!
You are such a good baby! Seriously, I am wondering how I got so blessed with good babies. However, after Natalee, I deserved some easy-going babies! :)
You are a great eater. You have been nursing great and taking a bottle well of pumped milk if needed. You are still on the preemie nipples (when you get a bottle) and sometimes choke on it if you are really hungry. You make a lot of noise when you eat, lots of mmm's and I love it. You haven't had any formula since in the hospital. I have stocked up thousands of ounces of milk already for you in the freezer!
You are eating every 3-4 hours. And you sleep in between. Just this past week (your second week of life) you have started to be awake longer and have really started looking around and moving your head. On 06.04, you slept 6 hours straight at night and on 06.05, you slept 8 hours straight! Way to go girl...I think by five kids, I have this sleep-training schedule down pat!
You love sleeping on your Daddy's chest, just like all of your sisters have.
You aren't a fan of your bath right now, but I know that will change.
Your umbilical-cord came off on Saturday, June 1st.
Your hair is still a very light brown, possibly with some red in it. It's short, just a little peach fuzz, but oh so sweet. I love how soft and fluffed up it is right after your bath.
Your eyes are still a dark blue, maybe they will turn brown.
You are in Pampers Newborn diapers. You haven't pooped on Momma yet, but you did poop on Grandma right before your first bath. You are not a fan of diaper changes at all.
You LOVE Your binkis and love to hold them in yourself, which is so cute.
You are wearing preemie sleepers and some newborn outfits but everything newborn is still so big on you.
I love the cute little fists you make. Your little nails and wrinkles.
You are very loud. Like preemie loud. Grunting and making noises all the time. Reminds me so much of your triplet sisters when they came home for the hospital and were sleeping next to me.
You smell so good. I wish I could bottle that new baby smell up and keep it forever. It is simply the best.
I just love staring at you. I cannot believe you are my very last baby that I will ever have. I mean, I know I have you and your four sisters, and you all will always be my babies no matter how old you are, but goodness, I look at you and can't believe this is truly it for me and for our family. I don't want to put you down. I don't want to miss a minute. I want time to stop and just keep it the way it is right now. Every day that goes by, I can see you changing and it makes my heart sad. You are so beautiful and I want you to stay a baby forever!
Your sisters are so in love with you. They love holding you, giving you kisses, holding your hands, telling you to "shhh" if you're crying and helping me whenever I need something for you. They ask to say goodnight to you each night and it's so sweet. I just love it.
Even though it's only been two weeks, it seems like you've been here forever! I can't even remember life without you! You have completed our family....for real this time!
I love you, my sweet Anna-Kate. You will always be my littlest baby.
