7 Weeks!

Wow, where do I begin with this post??? Last week, kinda ironic how I wrote "maybe there are two babies in my tummy", and not only are there two, but there's 3!!!! I cannot believe I am having TRIPLETS. I know that sentence will get old to so many of you, but it is what I am going through right now, and will be for a long time. It's unbelievable to us. So many emotions we are going through. I have actually started a journal just to write down all of my thoughts and feelings and to document everything (more than the blog itself).

How Far Along: 7 Weeks

How Big are the Babies: The babies are now the size of blueberries (.51 inches)! Their brains -- both hemispheres! -- are growing fast, generating about one hundred new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place (thebump.com).

Weight Gain: Still 126; my starting weight.

Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, sore boobies, thirsty, headaches, very tired (at night I'm sleeping a good 13 hours!!!!) and a few others but I rather not say.

Emotions: Nervous, scared and miserable from puking non-stop. I can't stop looking at other women's blogs and stories of triplets, one way it freaks me out (the size of their belly and what they look like after a few months---HOLY CRAP, my great body will be gone) but other ways it's good to know there are others out there who have survived!!!

Something Funny That Happened: Telling everyone that we are going to have triplets! Everyone couldn't believe what they heard. Tim's mom called me right after Tim told her and said, "Please tell me my son is lying to me," I said, "I'm afraid not"!!!!!!!!!! I think you could hear my mom and my sister's screams all throughout the neighborhood. My dad, who was at work, was just in shock and apparently our news was the "going thing" around Lockheed for the next few days!! Everyone is so excited for my dad and Tim.

Best moment of the Week: Seeing THREE perfect heartbeats in my belly and watching Tim's eyes pop out of his head and almost fall out of the chair. I will never forget that. Oh and having Kim (my bff) come over and help me already start the baby transformations!!!!

Movement: None

Maternity Clothes: Yes, yes, and yes...I guess I will be from now on. Thank you to the 3 women who had a wonderful yard-sale on Friday in Urbana and selling all their name-brand maternity clothes for a $1!!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart (and so does my wallet)!

Stretchmarks: None yet! :) But do they sell Maderma or whatever I'm suppose to use at Costco, like in a 10 gallon bucket?????

Sleep: Sleeping wonderfully, waking up to use the bathroom but sleeping until late morning with no problem. So not like me!!! I MUST wear a sports bra at bed-time too. Oh and dreaming like crazy!!!!

Food cravings: I dream about food all night long, and the thought of it once I wake up is devastating. I dream of cupcakes and then say I'm going to make cupcakes, and the thought of that is enough to make me vomit. So, no cravings this week, just ice, ice-cold water and ginger-ale. However, I have eaten Italian food every day, sometimes twice a day for the past 4 days...but that's not too abnormal for me, I LOVE PASTA.

Gender Predictions: I know it's going to be two girls and a boy. Tim still says "all boys"... but if it's all boys, I think I will cry. I need a little girl!!

What I Miss: Only one thing still, but that's left for the imagination. ;)

What I'm Looking Forward To: My second trimester, so I can feel better. Sonogram this Thursday which is my last at SGFC, so that's kinda bitter sweet. Off to Maternal Fetal Medicine...who specialize in high risk and multiple pregnancies...who knew I would be one of those!!!

Weekly Wisdom: I have a WHOLE NEW APPROACH when someone says a 2% chance of something happening or a 98% chance of something NOT happening!!!!!

Milestone: Umm, having two embryos put in and getting three babies! WOW, that is a milestone!

Question(s): None, this week! :) Thanks to Chantelle and Melissa for some helpful advice on the morning all-day sickness. I don't think I would be able to make it without you two!!!!

So, on to the photo...bloating has gone down, now I'm just growing!!! I only took one because I didn't have any make-up on, so I didn't want to scare anyone! :)

Hormones SUCK!

Today, I am laying in bed miserable. Everytime I try to get up, my stomach reminds me who is in charge here. Ginger-ale is my only saving grace, oh, and along with Zofran, around the clock, every six hours on the dot. I knew it wouldn't be long until this lovely part of pregnancy would begin and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my second trimester, which even after one day of this crap, can't come soon enough. I only pray that I won't have this miserable-ness worse since I am carrying multiples...which I have heard is normally the case. Lucky me. I guess I am lucky...after all, I asked for all of this! I knew what I was getting myself into...I just never in a million years thought TRIPLETS.

I have a job interview today at 3pm and another tomorrow at 6pm (and NO, they will NOT be hearing our wonderful news until after my first paycheck, I hate not telling the truth but I got to do what I got to do). I can't even begin to think what it will be like to start a new job feeling like this. That gives me enough anxiety to vomit again. But lets be honest, I need a job, my break after my degree needs to be over and over asap. I need an income, badly. Forget financially stable...I just want my Direct TV turned back on! This sucks all around.

Please pray for me!!

Matt and Sara's Wedding - Pittsburgh, PA

This past weekend we ventured back up to PA, but this time visiting Pittsburgh. We were very excited to attend our close friend's wedding. Tim and Matt (the groom) have been friends for a very long time and Matt met Sara (the bride) right before Tim and I started dating. They are complete opposites but so in love! We stayed at the Sheraton Station Square hotel which was awesome! We were on the 9th floor, which was only for Starwood Members, which made it just perfect to take in the city! The views were awesome. We watched boats go by all afternoon along the river, after we arrived and waited to get dressed for the evening.

The wedding started at 6:15pm and was at Phipps Conservatory. There were only 42 people, so it was quite small. It was SO hot in the greenhouse were the ceremony was taking place, I thought I was going to die but thank goodness they had ice cold water so I drank and drank while waiting for the wedding to start. The ceremony was over in less than ten minutes, and Sara's sister married them. However, I couldn't even believe it was so quick. One of our friends dropped his girlfriend off and then parked the car, and when he got there, the ceremony was over. He was shocked, but we were all so happy to be on our way to the much-cooler reception. I was starving too.

The reception was at LeMont, which is a beautiful restaurant overlooking all of Pittsburgh. Sara is a HUGE Steelers fan, so the fact that Heinz Field can be seen so clearly right across the river, I'm sure it was a major selling point for her. The appitizers were SO good, but the dinner food, not so much. I got the Chicken Marsala, which I love and it was terrible. It could have been my taste buds and the fact that I was ready to vomit at any point, but other than that, I managed to keep it down, however, I only ate a few bites. I didn't have any wedding cake because I couldn't even stomach the thought of that. The favors were take home, home-made cookies (a PA tradition, apparently), which I thought was awesome. We danced and everyone drank but me. My back was killing me all night long and I was so tired. Still in shock and not feeling to good, was not a good combination but I tried to make the best of it.

Finally we got back to our hotel and I took a shower and went to bed. We had to go to a brunch at Sara's Mom's house at 11:30am, which was pretty good. Everyone kept asking about us and the babies, and it was nice to see everyone again. Everyone was just so shocked that we are expecting triplets!

After the five hour drive home, we were beat. I slept so good last night, only to wake up to a miserable day. The puking has officially started and let me tell you, it is NOT fun. I can't seem to keep anything down but ginger-ale right now. I am hoping for a good night's rest but who knows.

Anyway, onto some photos of the weekend. Enjoy!

The views from our hotel were amazing...thanks Mom and Dad!!!!

Matt...nervous!

The views (above and below) from the restaurant were awesome!!

We can say he had A LOT of wine!

Tim and Christian were trying so hard to find my camera lens cap, but they had had a few too many drinks. Hence, Nathan is practically falling off the chair.

SO pretty!

Introducing...

The Gaydos Triplets!!

2 babies in SAC A and 1 baby in SAC B...the Nurse couldn't get them all in the same photo, so even though it looks like 3 sacs, it isn't. 2 SACS, 3 BABIES!!!!!

Now that I have slowly picked myself up off the floor and begun breathing again...I'm still in complete shock!! This is going to be crazy from this day on! Our lives have changed forever. I will have three kids! HOLY SMOKES!!

This morning started out like any other...me not sleeping at all. Finally, around 5:00am I decided to actually get out of bed and keep myself busy so that time could pass and I could try not to puke. I got some things done on the computer for our trip to Pittsburgh tomorrow and finally woke Tim up at 7:00am! We made it to the doctor's office bright and early and I was like a jumping bean. My legs were shaking, I couldn't stand myself, I was so anxious. For the first time ever, I waited and waited, and waited. I couldn't believe how long I waited. I have never had to wait that long there before! We finally were brought back into the room and I layed down and waited and waited some more!!! Finally, the Nurse and Dr. Stillman came in and as soon as that lovely tool went in me, I immediately saw two sacs! I almost jumped off the table and said, "It's TWINS, It's TWINS"...Dr. Stillman said, "Looks like two nice and healthy sacs," and "Oh look at that strong heartbeat, you see that there,"...MAGICAL!!!! They then went to the other sac and the Nurse said, "ohhhh"....I freaked out and before I could say anything, Dr. Stillman looked and said, "looks like two babies in there, looks like a perfect set of identical twins also"....LIKE HELLO, 3 BABIES!!!!?!??!?!??!

OH.MY.GOSH.YOU.MUST.BE.KIDDING.

Mind you, we had a 2% chance of triplets and yet that's what happened!! Absolutely mind blowing. I could barely contain my laughter, as Tim nearly fell out of the chair and his literally popped out of his head. I will never forget that face. Probably won't see that again until he day they are born! OH MY GOSH, I AM HAVING TRIPLETS!!!

I cannot fathom this at this moment. I thought, first and foremost, I AM GOING TO BE A WHALE!!!!! My perfect, skinny body is no longer ever going to be! :( Just crazy. I don't even have enough boobies to feed these children!! For once, I wish I was a a doggy and had the plumbing to feed all my babies.

I swear I am going to start a diaper/EVERYTHING donation drive...I need all the help I can get here!

3 of EVERYTHING....3 babies, 3 cribs, 3 2-year-old screaming in a restaurant, 3 daycare fees (hopefully not...knock knock MOMMY) 3 kids going to school every year at the same time, 3 yearbooks to buy every year, field trips to pay for, 3 sets of back-to-school clothes and shoes, 3 car seats, 3 COLLEGE TUITION'S...AHHH, the list could go on and on! I AM SPEECHLESS!!

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!?!?!?

Right now, I am going to take a nap, this has all worn me out!!!! HAHA...I can't stop laughing, I AM HAVING TRIPLETS!!!!!!!!

ALL I CAN SAY FOR NOW IS.....WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I promise to give the details later this evening when I can pick myself up off of the floor and breath again...but just if you haven't heard the news...

We are having.....

TRIPLETS!!!

I have 3 strong and lively heartbeats in my belly!!!!!!!!

6 Weeks!

Ok, so this is week 6...I am kinda nervous. Vomiting has subsided for now, I secretly hope it comes back, just so I can feel pregnant. I started taking the B6 vitamin because "they" say it helps with nausea, so maybe it really is helping me. But I just don't feel preggo...I know, it's coming, I guess, I hope. Looking forward to seeing how many babies are in me on Thursday. I might change my opinion and now say one, because I think if it was two, I would be feeling more...I don't know, what do I really know, I only know what I read and people tell me.
How Far Along: 6 Weeks

How Big is/are the Baby(ies): The size of a sweet pea (.25 inches)! Growing like crazy, baby is starting to sprout eyes, ears, nose, cheeks and chin. Those little hands and feet- still webbed like paddles- might wiggle by week's end, the heart is beating (almost twice as fast as yours!), and blood is starting to circulate (thebump.com).

Symptoms: Nausea, sore boobies, thirsty.

Emotions: Nervous- I just want to know everything is ok with this/these little peanut(s).

Something Funny That Happened: Nothing this week, other than my meltdown (read below)!

Best moment of the Week: Continually telling myself I'm REALLY pregnant.

Movement: None

Maternity Clothes: Umm, yeah, I can't button any of my jeans! Anyone want to share any clothes????

Stretchmarks: None yet! :)

Sleep: Still not getting any...up a lot of the night!

Food cravings: Oh man, yesterday Tim and I went to one of our favorite places to eat, Ernie's (well re-named "Quincy's") to get their best ever fried fish sandwich with the best ever cole-slaw and they changed their menu. I about cried (freaking out the waitress) and Tim told me to stop acting like a five-year-old or we were leaving (he doesn't get it). I was devastated. needless to say I am craving some really good cole slaw and a fried fish sandwich!!!!!! But crushed ice is like my favorite thing right now, with, still pickles!

How Many and Gender Predictions: Hmm...I still say 2, and a girl and a boy. Tim says "all boys"...whatever that means, 1, 2 or 3!

What I Miss: Only one thing still, but that's left for the imagination. ;)

What I'm Looking Forward To: First sonogram this Thursday, but also so nervous that they'll say there's nothing there!! :( SO scared!
Weekly Wisdom: Don't give up hope!

Milestone: Just getting pregnant!! :) EKK!!!

Question(s): It's normal to feel a little scared, right???

So, on to the photos...still looking bloated...or is that maybe two???

Trip to PA!

This past weekend, Tim and I made it up to visit all our family in Pennsylvania. As I mentioned yesterday, Friday night and early Saturday morning were not a very good start and I was questioning how the weekend was going to go, but luckily I was able to go. When we got home Friday evening from softball (around 12:20am), took showers and finally settled into bed, it wasn't long before I was up (around 3:15am) in the bathroom puking. It was too hard to lay down, because every time I did, it wasn't a good feeling, so I just decided to get up, get ready and keep myself busy around the house for the remaining time before Tim woke up at 6:00am. He was shocked when I walked into our room at 6:00am with make-up on, hair done, clothes on and our bags packed (he still thought I was laying in bed).

We made it up pretty quick and I managed to eat some Burger King (bad choice, I know) and keep it down! Tim and his cousin, Russel were going to play golf and I was going to go to the Yuengling Factory with the rest of the family. Tim's mom is one of five girls, so there is a lot of people to see when we're up there and always good times to have! I love going up there and hanging out with everyone. I could never had imagined that I would get to marry into such a wonderful and loving family! I just love them all. One by one, with each Aunt that arrived, we told our good news too. Everyone was so happy and excited for us! I was still not feeling so great but it was nice to take my mind off of things and tell people our great news! All of Tim's Aunts and his Nana were really so interested in hearing the details and of course, I love sharing it!

I still decided to make it to the Yuengling Factory, even though I wasn't sure I'd make it all the way through. When we got there (it's only a five minute drive), we had to walk up these crazy hills and it was so hot! We made it inside finally, only to be welcomed by an OVERWHELMING, horrible smell of yeast. It was unbelievable. Imagine--hot, 90 degree weather, 85% humidity, the smell of yeast and no air conditioning. I started to panic...what did I get myself into. I was NOT feeling well, waiting for the tour to start. Luckily, one of Tim's Aunt's, Aunt Bonnie, is a Nurse, so I felt safe with her, plus his mom was there too. They kept asking me if I was ok and I really appreciated that, because I was NOT feeling well at all.

The tour finally started and the tour guide brought us down to the caves where they used to keep all the beer before refrigeration and it was 55 degrees. Everyone was saying how cool it was and I was in heaven, I finally could breath! I could have stayed down there the whole time, and skipped the rest of the tour. I just tried to focus on the tour, the history and what the guide was saying. There were some really interesting facts. Yeungling is the oldest brewery in the United States (I knew this...hello, it's on all their bottles) but what I thought was the coolest, was that in a few years, Mr. Dick Yuengling, the current owner, will hand the business down to his four daughters. That means it will be owned by four women! I think that's pretty cool. All four girls work at the factory doing various jobs and will own the production in the coming years. Lucky girls. Only Yuengling family has owned the business since 1829, no one else. There were a whole bunch of cool facts that I learned and I did manage to make it all the way through the tour. It took about an hour. One thing that was terrible, was that at the end of the tour everyone got a cup of beer of your choice and so of course I got root beer...well I was only fifth in line, way before all the kids and the root beer ran out. I was so mad, not only could I not have a nice cold beer but then the root beer runs out!! I was not a happy camper.

I did manage to take some good photos of the day.

Inside the caves

They used these up to eight years ago...crazy!

The bar that ran out of root beer!!!!

Aunt Bonnie, Nana, Rick, Tammy, Aunt Jen and Me (plus baby(ies))

Aunt Bonnie, Aunt Beth, Nana, Rick, Tammy, Aunt Jen

So, we had a really great time and I was glad to make it through the tour. We went by this candy store afterwards and I got some great chocolate peanut-butter fudge. The rest of the day I was shoving food in my face to keep the nausea at bay. Everyone up there can cook so well, I love all the home-good cooking!! So yummy!! I was in the bathroom a lot but did feel better, just so tired. We didn't go to bed until close to mid-night, so I was exhausted beyond imagine by Saturday night. I SLEPT SO GOOD; IT WAS WONDERFUL. I slept better than I have in two weeks. The puking stopped and since then, I have felt so good. No pain killers since Thursday, not even any Tylenol since Friday, no nausea and no more puking! I am feeling so good. The only thing that hurts on my whole body is my boobies! I slept most of the way home...so the exhaustion is starting to creep in, I think. Bring it on! :)

It was so nice to see everyone and I always look forward to a great time in PA!

4w6d - Beta #3

Today I had my third beta! My number was 3379! Perfect! I don't have to go back until Thursday,  June 24th at 8am for my first real ultrasound! I am so excited because they said I would have Dr. Stillman and Tim will get to come and hopefully we'll be able to see the little peanut(s).

This past weekend was not so great. Friday night I slept for 2 hours, yes, only 2 hours and was puking all night long!!! Ugh, it was lovely.

I will post about our trip to PA tomorrow. I didn't have time to do it today because my best friend, Kim, invited me over to the house she is house/dog sitting at to go in the pool. We had a lovely afternoon catching up and such. I got way more sun then I expected, and didn't realize it until I got home and took a shower. It was barely sunny out. The best part of the afternoon was a beautiful card that I got....Kim asked me to be her Matron of Honor in her wedding next May!!!! We both started crying. I am so honored that she asked me! It was a moment that I will never forget. It seems so far away for the baby(ies) to be here in February but her wedding in May seems like it will be here tomorrow. I remember the wedding planning phase like yesterday and it goes so fast. I hope pregnancy goes fast too! I'm already feeling impatient, haha!

Just feeling so blessed that God chose us to be parents to this (ese) beautiful baby(ies)! I can't wait to see them!!

4w3d - Beta #2

Today I went in for my beta #2...and I just got the call from my Nurse and my number went from 641 to...

1255

That is great news. I have also managed to go well-over 24 hours with NO pain medication (just some extra-strength Tylenol)! No episodes of vomiting or rolling around in a fetal position like I'm going to die! I'd say that is improvement!

I was concerned a little about the stretching and pulling feeling that I am having from the top of my rib cage all the way down. So, this morning when I signed in for my blood draw, I asked if I could speak with the Nurse too. The lady said, "Sure, go on back," so I did.

I saw Dr. Stillman standing there and I just decided I would skip the Nurse and go to him. After all, I'm practically family.  I said, "Oh Dr. Stillman, thank you for calling me. We are so excited, I just can't believe it, thank you so much for your kindness and help"...blah, blah...and then I said, "is it normal to have all this pressure and bloating and soreness"? I just kept going on and on. He says, "well ya know, there could be four babies in there.." Insert here -- an almost completely white faced woman practically on the floor -- haha! I was like, "no really, it's ok, this is normal...I've never been pregnant before ya know". So he said, "well lets go take a look"...I'm like awesome!!! He mentioned over to the Nurses and I was in the room ready before I could say ok. No worries though, I just have HUGE ovaries and some fluid. Nothing major, he said my lining was more than perfect and plush. I thought, wait, are we describing a couch or my uterus here! I asked if it was too early to see the babies and the Nurse and Dr. Stillman looked for a few minutes but it's still too early to se some saks. Heehee...I was just tickled to death! I got the royal treatment!

So, all and all it was good! My tummy is still very sore and anything that touches it hurts. I hate sleeping on my back and my side, so it's been hard to get used to this already. I just NEED to sleep on my tummy. And I have been peeing a lot! Whahhooo! I love this already though! I'm so excited. I just keep thanking God for giving us this gift. It is such a wonderful gift. Last night, I forget what we were watching we were watching Bill and Guilana (LOVE that show) and this couple said they had done 5 IVF's and I just started bawling. Tim kept asking what was wrong with me, and I'm like, look what a gift we got, on our first try!! We are so lucky, and I will never forget that. Such a miracle God has given us. I am forever thankful.

Looking forward to telling everyone at Softball this evening. Tim's team never has games on Memorial Day Weekend and then they had a bye last week, so we haven't seen everyone in three weeks. So excited to tell them all. Everyone was so sad to hear we still weren't pregnant (I wrote about this briefly before) on the first game, so I'm sure they will be surprised now, however, it was no secret that we were doing IVF!

And then this weekend we are heading up to PA to visit with Tim's family. He has four aunts that will all be there, so to tell everyone our good news together will be awesome. Something I have been dreaming about for over a year now! We have some fun things planned so it should be a great weekend!

So next beta (#3) on Monday!

Wednesday, June 9, 2010

I guess I should get used to eating a jar of pickles in one sitting...

I mean, if you know me, you know I love pickles and eating A LOT of pickles is not that big of a deal but I have heard that you should watch your salt intake when your...

PREGNANT!!

That's right, after our first attempt at IVF....

WE ARE HAVING A BABY (OR TWO, OR EVEN MAYBE THREE)!!!!!!!!

I AM PREGNANT!!

I cannot believe it! I have been in so much pain the past few days that they moved up my blood test from Monday to Friday. Then yesterday, the pain got even worse and I started vomiting. Nurse My Favorite and Dr. Stillman were getting very concerned and wanted to get the blood test asap, so that when it came back negative (or not), I could stop the drugs immediately that were causing the pain. The pain has been unbearable. It's all because of one thing:

ENDOMETRIOSIS

That lovely disease that attacks organs and the abdominal cavity (or even the brain) and causes so much pain and discomfort. In my body, because I have Stage IV (severe), my abdominal cavity is full of endometriosis, so because my uterus is now growing (at a rapid rate) it is aggravating all of the endometriosis which it's surrounded in. So when I eat, it's painful since my stomach expands and pushes against everything. UGH...it's a never ending battle and it will be for the next few months. They already said, this will not be an easy pregnancy in the beginning.

That's ok. As bad as the pain is, it's all worth it now. I am pregnant. Holy crap!

This morning, not an ounce of me thought that I would be pregnant today. I didn't take my Estrace or my Progesterone. I brought my calender with me so that I could start penciling in my next cycle. I was so depressed. I put my arm out to get my blood drawn and almost started crying. I wanted to cringe at the other people in the waiting room. I thought well I guess I will be the next RESOLVE leader for Rockville (the current leader just became pregnant after 5 IVF cycles and I said that I would love to volunteer) because I know wouldn't be pregnant.

I went back to my Mom's house, so that I could get the bad news there and around 9:15 I saw "Shady Grove Fertility Clinic" light up on my phone and I thought, here we go. Nurse My Favorite said "Hi Holly"...."It's positive"..."It's REALLY positive"! I literally grabbed the garage door and mom started screaming. I don't even know what came out of my mouth other than crying and screaming and oh my gosh, all in about five minutes. I started shaking. I could barley control myself. I just kept asking, "what's my number, what's my number"? My HCG number, well it was...

641

Yes, 641...the normal for a "day 15" after fertilization should be around 130 or so. Me---641!!!!!!! She then went on to say, "we can almost assume multiples here".

Ummm.....wait, are we still talking about me? My belly? My babies?

OH MY GOSH!

The rest of the day was a blur, between my episodes of severe pain and nausea, I was calling everyone I knew, I'm sure the mailman heard me screaming. I was shaking for two hours. I still cannot believe it. We are in such disbelief. Tim thought I was joking, he heard me crying and thought I was going to say it's negative, but boy was he wrong. All I wanted to do was hug him. I couldn't let go of him for an hour. I think he's already kissed my belly a hundred times just since he got home from work. Sweet man, he will make a wonderful daddy.
My stomach is SO sore! I am SO bloated. It feels like someone has taken a rubber-band from the top of my chest and pulled it down and it won't go anymore...the stretching is really weird. I want to "pop" my stomach already...that's what makes me think that we have more then one little one in there.

And I have to take the pain meds every 4 hours or I'm back on the bed in a fetal position rocking back and forth. I managed to eat three meals today and not vomit, so that was a successful day.

We just had dinner with my Mom and Dad and they along with Tim enjoyed a bottle of champagne, while I had ginger ale. I wanted to come home and finally take that pregnancy test and actually see two lines pop up FOR REAL...and within 2 seconds the line was there, brighter than the freakin' test line. I just can't stop starring at it. Tim was like "let me see it, let me see it"...haha, I'm like "do you want to take it for show and tell tomorrow with the guys"? He's so funny!

So, after 13 months, we are finally pregnant!!! Next beta on Friday and then another on Monday. First sonogram is at 6 weeks. Today I am offically 4w1d...AMAZING. Simply amazing.

Oh, God is good!

7dpf/2dpt

Well, I don't have much to report.

Back to work tomorrow. Not like my job is super stressful, but it will be nice to leave the house for a few hours. The kids can't wait to see pictures of "the egg babies" from "the egg lady" as they have been calling me ever since last week. I'm sure they are going to be confused when I show them the photos because they haven't made it to Kindergarten yet, so explaining the photo will be interesting. They actually do understand that they are "babies" surprisingly. One of the sweet little girls asked me last week, "so when they put the babies in your tummy, can we water you like we water the flowers and your tummy will grow?" I almost died. They just learned in preschool about vegetables and fruits and flowers growing, so it was so funny! They are super sweet. They also kept asking me, if they would be here when the babies came to "their" school or if they would already be in Kindergarten. So cute!!

I was super hungry today. I ate lunch at 10:00am and literally didn't stop eating all day. Before Tim returned home from work, I ate a WHOLE, yes, WHOLE jar of dill sandwich pickles. I could not for the life of me, put the jar down!! It was so good. I knew I would regret it in an hour or so and sure enough my stomach hurt for two hours. I love pickles, I always have loved pickles. They are probably one of my favorite foods and in my fridge right now there are a few many different types. For some reason I must have been craving salt. Maybe I am eating for 2 or 3, or a 2% chance of 4. Hmm...we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Nurse My Favorite called this morning and was super happy to talk to me and catch up. She called the embryos "good quality" twice, so that made me happy again. I told her I was concerned because I haven't had any spotting yet...and I have been looking for it constantly. She said of course not everyone does, but I'm just wondering, how many other women do? Anyone not notice it and still get pregnant? I'm hoping I will wake up tomorrow and see some, because that will be a little confirmation to me that maybe there is some real hope here. I just go back and forth, I get myself psyched but then I feel like I might be let down. Such a stressful ride. My boobs are hurting and are HUGE! Tim was going crazy when I was asking him if they seemed bigger, he was like ugh, DUH! LOL! They are so sore, but I know that's from the drugs.

On a super good note, I had an awesome job opportunity come my way from my wonderful past supervisor. It is for probably the best private practice sex offender treatment clinic in Maryland, as a Forensic Social Worker...whaaaawhoooo. I got the message and within five minutes called. The lady was really nice and I sent her my resume. She said they aren't looking to fill the position until the end of June, which is perfect for me, since I still have to take my licensing exam in two weeks. I am so keeping my fingers crossed on this one. This would be a dream job and I am sure the salary is quite good also. This place has a waiting list for years and people pay unbelievable amounts of money to have therapy by this guy. He is one of the best. I'm sure I would be managing a case load of sex offender therapy or something along those lines. Totally up my alley and if I can't work (at this moment, no open jobs) in the courts or in the jail, this would be close enough.

Tim just read the babies their bedtime story. He read Guess How Much I Love You...one of my favorites. He kept saying Big Nut Hare instead of Big Nutbrown Hare...I'm like, "dude, you got to get that straight before the babies really get here!" We were cracking up!!!
