Easter Weekend - Sunday

On Sunday, Tim and I woke up early to start cooking. We didn't go to church this year on Easter, because we just had too much going on. Bad excuse, but it's the truth! We were planning on having both sides of the family over around 2pm for dinner so we had to get busy. 

We made a ham, green bean casserole, filling, deviled eggs, and an apple pie. Tammy and Megan made sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole and an Jewish apple cake. My mom brought another ham and an apple pie too. Everything was delicious.

We ate and then woke the girls up to find their Easter baskets. They got a little bit of candy, some matchbox cars (their FAV right now!), training panties, some bracelets, some Elmo tissues, Minnie-Mouse stickers, and then stuff from my parents and some adorable outfits from Auntie Megan. Nana had bought them their adorable bean bag chairs which they got a few weeks ago. Oh, and yes, my girls are still in their jammies!

They got a butterfly tunnel from my parents which has been a big hit!

Claire at a whole chocolate bunny (a small one - no worries!!) and she was in love!

We also did an egg hunt and Claire "cleaned up" on the eggs!

On Monday my sister came over and gave the girls this little dancing/singing chicky thing from Hallmark that has become a favorite in the house. She also gave them little Barbie pom-poms, which of course they are loving too. 

It was a great weekend, full of family fun!
