Happy Halloween 2012!

The girls had a blast trick-or-treating tonight! Oh my goodness, I couldn't believe it! They would walk up to each door with me and we would all knock on the doors and even though they barely ever said "trick-or-treat", they said "peas" and "tat you". I couldn't have been more proud. Claire wanted to give her candy to each person at the door, she didn't quite get that she could pick what she wanted and of course Madelynn wanted to hold all her pieces and not put anything in her pumpkin bucket. Natalee got the hang of it, right away. She would walk up to the door, wait for the candy wand walk right back and sit in the stroller....spoiled rotten, I tell ya! They had SO.MUCH.FUN!!!!!

It started to get cold, but we did our whole neighborhood before going home. Madelynn threw the biggest fit on the stairs before we enticed her with a piece of candy. She did NOT want to be home!!!!

Emily "rode" with Auntie Megan the whole time and enjoyed it so much much! We were so happy to have her join us since she is home for awhile!

And then we enjoyed going through all of the candy and looking at all the pieces.

I am seriously smiling from ear to ear tonight. I think I had more fun than I have ever had on a Halloween night. Watching my girls. Watching their smiling faces light up. They were so polite and so sweet saying "bye-bye" to everyone and "hi" to other kids. It was so fun trick-or-treating with my little girls. My own little girls. I couldn't be a more blessed Momma.
