Weekend Happenings!

This weekend was a whirlwind, but we enjoyed it none-the-less. The weather was perfect and we spent lots of time as a family. Nothing better in my book!

Friday we all went over to my friend Meg's house and spent some time with her triplets. The girls had a blast and so did I. Meg and I had lots of wonderful things to chat about, mostly resolving around multiples. Fun, fun!

The kids enjoyed helping to make banana bread and then sitting together for lunch. One of Meg's sweet little boys, Coleman, calls Madelyn his girlfriend. It's so cute. I love how well they all get along.

That night my mom came up and spent some time with us while Tim was at softball. It was a fun evening just hanging out.

On Saturday it was gorgeous. Since Tammy was going to be leaving for her cruise { to BERMUDA with her Mom and 4 sisters...LUCKY!!!!! } in the afternoon, we decided to head to a new local park with the girls and have her meet us there. The girls had a blast! They are so brave and getting so big! The just run and climb on everything! I am so proud of them!

And then we headed to eat lunch at McDonald's for a treat and said goodbye to Nana!  Then we headed back home to put the girls down for a nap, while Tim and I caught up on Revenge and relaxed a little. I got some planting done out front and planted some flowers in some pots for our deck.

After nap time, we set up the girls pool on the deck and they had a blast playing in it for awhile before dinner. Even though their bathing suits are 18 month, they are super tight and won't fit for much longer. Oh well. Guess I'll be on the hunt for new ones before our beach trip in August. Hello...Gymboree!

That's right...Momma in her bathing suit too!

Yup...go for it! Pull it all up, Natalee!

And the next day was Mother's Day! Tomorrow I'll post on that!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

  1. Glad you found P. C. One of my favorites and one of the only other parks I will take my kids to when I am alone with them. I remember the first time I went there when I was alone and two other mothers I did not know were there. Cole was leaning threw one of the sets of bars on the walk ways and fell threw on his head. Of course I was chasing Hunter away from the water at the time and this mother who was standing right there and watched him fall started screaming. She kept saying I was right there, I was right there. I went running and like a cat he screamed for a second we brushed him off and he kept going. Of course I felt awful, you can never be in four places at once and thought this is just another reason why going out in public is so overwhelming.

I hope you had a wonderful mother's day. I thought about you all weekend with the nice weather. Our kids have so much fun together and with nice weather what is better than fun and great friends.

Also Keith fixed the problem with my profile but now I am wide open so, some time soon I would like to sit down with you and learn more about blogger and setup. Plus don't forget to mark Thursday morning off for playgroup. I will not be at the park on Wednesday because of Hunter's field trip but my mom will be taking the trio to soccer at 11 at that field to the right of the playground. So if you want to say hi she is my height, super skinny with white/blond hair. The kids call her Mimi. I have told her all about you so I am sure she will know you as soon as she see the kids coming. I showed her all our pics...lol. Anyhow, Thursday and I hope to get an email out tonight or tomorrow.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Kiss the family of us.

  2. Sounds like a great weekend so far! Parker also has an 18 month suit that barely fits...they must make them small of something.
