Randoms and LOTS of Pics...

This is Claire's new favorite thing to do these days....wrap herself in a blanket:

The girls just love playing on the floor. A few weeks ago, a therapist came to work with the girls through our Infants and Toddlers Program (for our county--it's a free service, and since they were born early at 32 weeks, they qualify, even if they show no signs of needing the services) and she gave me all these great pointers about how to get the girls doing so much! I shouldn't be putting them in the excersaucers (jumperoos, jumpy door thingy, ect.) at all, if at all then only for ten minutes maybe twice a day. She said they should not be practicing standing up (it promotes "tippie-toe" walking which isn't good, and it's also more prominent in preemies!!), but exploring themselves on the floor the most. So, it's lots of floor time now!! I am so thankful for the advice from professionals and each week they will come to work with one of the girls for an hour! I am more than happy to have the help and have someone "play" with the girls besides me!!

They are so cute and really are starting to play together which just melts my heart.

Claire has started clapping a few times--yesterday for the first time (08.03.2011)!!!!

Natalee LOVES sucking on her thumb soooo much these days! She does it all of the time!

Madelynn is almost crawling. She gets up on all fours (hands and knees) and rocks back and forth...I'll get a pic of it soon! She is such a big girl!

Natalee LOVES to hold her feet and play with her toes:

Claire's bottom tooth is really coming in and she is already getting her front two up top! I can't believe it!

Natalee "talks" all of the time now too. She sounds like a little tropical parrot! She sounds totally different than her sisters.

Madelynn and Claire have started banging on their high chairs when they are in them! They are crazy girls!

Each of the girls LOVE toys now! They can't have have enough of them around them! It's so funny and I love it! Everything has to go in their mouths!

ANNNNNDDDDD.........

Yesterday, I went to the perinatalogist and he said this new bean already looks more like a girl than a boy.....exactly what the doctor said last week too! Oh well...and of course I have a million and one choices for a name for a girl this time and cannot decide on anything. I wouldn't be surprised if this baby didn't have a name in the delivery room if it's a girl!

We got some really great photos though:

I haven't thrown up at all in a WHOLE week plus one day! WHAHOOOOO!!!

We're going to the beach at the end of the month (25 more days...but no one's counting here!) and I couldn't be more exicted and have already started packing!!

I can't wait to sit at this pool and put my toes in the sand!!!!!!!

  1. I'm SO glad you found out about the jumperoo stuff. Parker is mostly in her just for a little while in the morning so I can unload the dishwasher and get her bottles ready for the day, but I will not be putting her in it just because anymore.

I was thinking about your girls today, wishing Parker had someone to play with on the floor with her when I'm trying to get some tuff done. (Not that I wish I had had twins...but ya know :)

Little baby bean is SO cute :)

YAY!!! For not getting sick!!! :) Praying it sticks around.

    That pool looks AMAZING!

  2. This is the second time I have heard about not using the jumperoo alot. This makes me sad because Brayden LOVES his. :( What was the reasoning the lady gave you? Not questioning you of course. Just curious.

Your girls are getting so big! So happy to hear that you are feeling better. Praying it sticks around!
