Happy Birthday Dad!
You are the best Dad any girl could ask for! I am so lucky to have you as mine! You have been the rock of our family and have made me who I am today! Thank you for being the best Grandpa to my little girls and I can't wait to share so many more memories with you as our family continues to grow!

Even though his birthday was Wednesday (8.03), we celebrated this Sunday with a big family seafood feast...we do this often for special occasions. We go down to the warf on the DC waterfront and get fresh seafood and come home and cook it all up and eat for hours! It's something we've always done in our family and I can't wait until the girls can join in too!!!
We went down on Sunday morning and picked everything up! Of course I had wanted to get a bowl of soup and some hush puppies..they are a must when visiting the warf, but it was just too hot for soup!!
We had crabs (blue crabs (for me) and snow crab legs), oysters, shrimp, corn-on-the-cob and sliced garden tomatoes! We also bought some fish and scallops to freeze for another night!
There is nothing like fresh seafood to celebrate any occasion!
