Can you believe we still need SO much more?!?

Even after two very generous showers, we still need so much more before these girls come and with the recent events I am getting worried that we won't be ready for when they do make their big arrival! I know some things can wait, but I am not that kind of person, or at least it's hard for me to not have everything exactly in order. If it's not, I will worry and stress over things not being bought or done. That's just me, call it OCD, I know.

  1. Its overwhelming with ONE, I can't imagine with three at once!!!!

I have two tubes of Desitin and some J&J bath stuff that are yours if you want them! I received so much as gifts - way more than I'll use with my mere singleton ;)

For burp cloths, I swear the best thing is to buy plain cheap cloth diapers!! And you don't really "need" baby towels - just wrap 'em up in regular towels! And with triplets, I'd skip the diaper pail and just hang a trash bag on the nursery door every morning!

You don't really "need" nursing nightgowns either. Just wear a nursing tank to bed. Target has awesome nursing tanks for cheap!

You may want to consider renting a hospital grade pump. It will be much more efficient than even the best Medela. Esp. if you are pumping full time for THREE. Also check and see if your insurance will cover a portion.

  2. HI. I found your blog via Leah and just wanted to extend my congrats to you on triplets. I agree with the above post that I can't imagine three at one time but God is in control.

Also, plain cloth diapers are the best burp clothes ever. Nursing tanks are much better than nightgowns b/c you can also wear them during the day.

Our little man is 11 weeks and I still have some things we never used from our showers (we recieved so many bibs and onesies as well as a bathtowel set). Also I have some newborn diapers if you would like them. I would be happy to send anything your way that can help. Feel free to email me if you would like. And again, CONGRATS!
