Happy FIVE Months Madelynn, Claire and Natalee!

There have been so many changes this past month! You girls have been changing everyday! Cooing and "talking" to us, sleeping in your own cribs in your room, keeping on a schedule, sleeping 8-9 hours a night (sometimes 12!!), smiling..oh the list goes on and on!

Since they had their 4 Month Appointment three weeks ago awhile ago, I thought I would add their stats from that appointment!


So let's get started!

You girls are growing and changing each day now!

Madelynn, your still know as our "Madagater" or "M" or "gater" or "MoMo". Claire, you are sill known as "Crazy" or "CC" or "Claire-bear". Natalee, you are known as "NaNa", "Natty BoBo" or "BoBo". I think we call you "BoBo" the most, you have your Daddy to thank for that one.

All of you smile the biggest smiles ever every time you see Mommy and Daddy. Each of you love to smile and are happy most of the time!  You all can grab on to toys now and love putting them into your cute slobbery mouth. Your hands are your favorite things to put in your mouth though. Madelynn, sometimes when Mommy checks on you at night, you have your entire fist in your mouth. You love to stick out your tongue all of the time too. It's so funny and Mommy keeps trying to get a picture of it. You all constantly drool. You all love to kick your feet all of the time and wave your arms all over the place.

You all love your bath time but Madelynn and Natalee, you hate to get your face wet. Claire, Mommy or Daddy could dump a gallon of water on your face and you would smile and laugh through it. You are so funny and still try to lick the water all of the time. You also love to lick the side of your car seat when you're sitting in it.

Everyone loves the car, but you all scream when we come to a red light or stop sign. You also get just as annoyed as mommy when people drive too slow!

Madelynn and Claire, your favorite food is sweet potatoes and Mommy cannot give them to you fast enough! This past month, you have had rice cereal, pears, peaches, bananas and sweet potatoes. You both also love peaches. Natalee, you have only had rice cereal and some pears, and a few little bites of bananas. Mommy is going slower on you with your food.

Madelynn, you are the quietest or most reserved so far of your sisters. I still think you are going to be a mommy's girl. Claire, you are the most dramatic and have started throwing the BIGGEST fits. Your face turns bright red and you drool and clench your mouth like crazy. You are like another child. It's hard to bring you back to reality once this happens, it's like you are really mad at Mommy for something. One time you did it after your sweet potatoes were all finished and Mommy had to get out some bananas and give them to you so you would calm down! You have also started "talking" and not cooing anymore, you have definitely found your voice.

Each of you eat about 7 ounces of formula every four hours. You put your hands on either side of the bottle all of the time and I hope this is the beginning of you all learning to hold your own bottles! Wonderful!

You go to bed, all in your own room, but Madelynn, you are still sleeping with your sister, Claire around 8:30PM each night after getting a bottle with some rice cereal in it. Natalee, you sleep by yourself in your swaddle-me and most nights sleep past your sisters, sometimes sleeping all the way to 8AM! Normally Madelynn and Claire, you both sleep until about 5AM, and then will drink about 3 ounces, we call it "just a snack" and go right back to sleep until 9AM. You all eat when you wake up and then take about a 15-min nap (waking completely on your own) around 10:30AM and then play until your next bottle at 1PM. You both then take a nice long nap each and most days Mommy and Daddy have to wake you up between 5-6PM. If we wake you up earlier, you and your sisters get really fussy around 7:30PM, so giving you some extra time during that afternoon nap is totally needed. However, Natalee, you are our exception and sleep in your swing for your nap and normally only nap for about 2 hours or so, but Mommy is working on it. You girls do so well on your schedule and Mommy counts her blessings each day how good you girls are!

You all love being in your bounce-bounce and love being in the exersaucers.

You absolutely love your Baby Einstein videos too. You all kick your legs and wave your arms like crazy! It's so cute! You also love laying on your floor mats playing with all the toys. Madelynn and Claire, you are almost rolling over from your back to your tummy now too. You have been rolling from your tummy to your back for months now. Natalee rolled from her tummy to her back last week on Thursday 5/19/11, for the first time and now loves to show off her new talent.

All of you girls have started to recognize one another. It's so cute. You smile and laugh at each other, and Mommy's heart just melts.

M, you also have the most hair of your sisters and both you and Claire still have the most beautiful blue eyes. Natalee, your hair, skin and eyes are all darker than your sisters.

Madelynn, you also laugh the most out of your sisters. It is so cute! Claire laughs a lot with you though, especially while watching Baby Einstein DVD's. You all love laughing with and at Daddy and will not do it much for Mommy! You all love your Daddy sooo much and he loves you so much too!

You are all wearing all 0-3 Month or 3 Month clothes now, and in size 1 and size 1-2 diapers, however Pampers size 1's always seem to leak overnight. Natalee, you barely fit into some Newborn clothes and are mostly in 0-3 clothes too! You go big girl!
