Monday, Monday

Good Morning!! Or maybe it's close to afternoon, but since I am still drinking my coffee, it's morning here!

I have so many thoughts, I just can't keep anything straight these days. I have a few seconds here while the girls are napping, so here goes:

I have so many ideas for my house, ideas for blogs, ideas for my life, my family's life, summer...the list goes on and on...and yet by the time I wake up or find a piece a paper, I can't remember anything anymore. Ugh, don't you hate that!

I have been going through a lot here and I will explain in the next few days. Some days, I feel like a failure, others I feel I can do anything. I hate complaining, yet some days it's really...let me say again, really hard to be and stay positive.

Today, we have been invaded...by these nasty creatures.

It happens every single spring and I dread the day when I see the first one. Thank heavens for Terminex. They are coming to spray again (eww, I just killed one crawling across my screen) today, around 11am. AMEN!

Today, it's suppose to be close to 80 degrees. I have shorts on, and am pleased to know I can fit into all of my spring and summer clothes. Ok, one pair of capris didn't fit, but I am not going to melt over that, just an excuse for a shopping trip! We are definitely taking a walk this afternoon when Timmy gets home!

My cats have been driving me crazy since bringing the girls home. I am at my wits end with them, but I love them like my own children, so I can't do anything about it.

This house has become too small for us. I am running out of room. I dream of storage units these days but find it to be an unnecessary expense. However, the attic is packed full and I need more room. I hate not having a shed or garage or some space!

I cannot wait to have a yard sale and/or sell some of my stuff on craigslist. I have so much I want to get rid of and the MCPOM sale isn't until October, which seems forever away. Anyone want any newborn diapers....we have so many!!!!! They are taking up so much space! If you want them, they are yours, for a very, and I mean very cheap price! We have about 7 boxes of Pampers (84) in each and six packages of Huggies (42) in each. I will donate them to MCPOM or another family of multiples in the NICU if I don't get any takers. I have so many preemie outfits, bouncy seats (we have too many), a swing (someone gave us, but again, too many in the house) and loads and load of formula that we aren't using! I have Enfamil and Good Start, Neocate, and a few others....I want it to go to a good family and really would hate to just donate it to whoever. I was so blessed by some many donations and would love to donate it to someone who could really use it. If you or anyone you know would like more info on any of these items or a question if I have something you are looking for, please email me (on the side bar). I will be glad to mail to you! Oh--one more thing...COUPONS...I have sooooo many coupons..diapers, wipes, formula, diaper rash cream, everything.....if interested, they are FREE! :)

I have been organizing like crazy and plan to do a post on it all. I must say it makes my heart smile!

I have also started another new adventure...it is so fun, and I can't wait to share with everyone.

On Friday, I found some great deals at the Frederick Tot Swap and am so happy I went. I got a $40 mobile for $10, two bath towells, each $1 and a door jumpy thing for $10! Also, they had a rep from Pampered Chef there and I picked up this great new cookbook for my cranberry deep dish (and one for my mommy too!). I LOVE all the recipes in it and plan to cook half the book this week!
Oh, and the most important item...Madelynn and Claire have now officially been sleeping in their room, only waking once during the early morning hours, and they have been able to put themselves back to sleep! Natalee is still sleeping in our room since she still wakes up to eat because she is smaller, but she went 6.5 hours last night. Hopefully, only another few weeks of that and she'll join her sisters in her big girl room too! I must admit though, I was a nervous wreck the first night with them not right next to me, but I figured I had to make the transition sometime and better sooner than later; I have to remember if I am meeting my emotions or the girls. When the girls are ready for things, I can't hold them back because I may not be ready. That is totally not fair and I will not do that. I slept so much better with them in their own room and woke up as soon as I heard them anyway on the monitor and it made me smile from ear to ear when I woke up hearing them cooing and talking to one another and when I went in to get them up for the day, they were all giggles and smiles. They were so proud of themselves for being big girls and so was I!!

Ok, I think that's all for now. I will have a bunch of posts coming!!!

  1. Can you exchange any of the dipes or formula for the correct size/type? Maybe enlist someone to help you with that since your hands are so full! Returning/exchanging the ones from Amazon shouldn't be too hard - all they need is the email address that was used to purchase them! And I bet Walmart would exchange without a receipt too!

What a testament of love that you've received MORE than you need!!

  2. Can't wait to hear ALL about the girls and plans. Hopefully you can exchange some of the items or find someone in need.

  3. Holly, you are so blessed! That is a wonderful thing! You prayed and God answered. It's that simple. When we put our trust and faith in God, He answers. God chose to pour out abundantly to you, and if you choose to share your blessing with another family in need, that is beautiful! And if you choose to exchange/return some things, that is good too. Either way- it's your choice, and I think it's wonderful that you have too much! :) Don't feel overwhelmed about it all. It's not worth worrying about. "Paying it forward" is just as good as exchanging/ returning everything. Do what is best for you. Your abundance just shows how loved your family is and how faithful God is to His word! I will keep praying that God gives you more than you need! Haha! ;) I love reading about your amazing family and viewing the pictures of the girls! You are doing great work! Even on the days when things don't seem to go right- trust me- your girls and Tim are beyond blessed to have you in their lives! Ok my mini sermon is over! Take care and enjoy every moment. Love, Melissa
