20 Weeks: OB/Sono Appointment

January 21, 2013, (19w5d) I had my 20 week OB appointment and sonogram. Definitely confirmed a girl again. 100 percent! Both sonograms last week and this week, Anna-Kate has her little ankles crossed. It's seriously the cutest thing ever because all of her older sisters constantly cross their ankles. She is currently about 10 ounces and growing perfectly fine! Due date is still set for June 12th.

The photos we got aren't really worth sharing. They are blurry and not clear...and they didn't look much different than last weeks photos.

My weight is only up 6lbs half-way through! I was 138lbs, up from starting weight of 132lbs.

Dr. A was totally not surprised to see us back. Hehe, his hair was more gray than I remembered a year ago. He was super nice and we talked for a long time, although I didn't get to say much since most of the conversation was surrounding the Eagles/Flyers/Phillies with my husband. Men and their sports teams.

I did make the decision that if I have to have a c-section (praying NOT to) for some reason or another, I will have my tubes tied. Even though Tim is getting a vasectomy very soon, we want to further our chances of NOT having anymore children. :)

This week I have felt Anna-Kate more and more. Each night she is definitely growing and moving and kicking around much more....and not only can I really feel it now, I can see it on the outside of my belly too. I just love love love feeling my sweet little bean moving around in my belly. There is NOTHING better! So blessed! There is never a day that goes by that I don't thank God for my beautiful daughters and the one in my belly!

Em's First Oatmeal!

Over the weekend I gave Emily banana oatmeal cereal for the first time and she did awesome! She has had it each day now, in the evening and is LOVING it! I swear, she is such a great eater and so much better than the triplets were at the same age!

And then I decided to take a little video of her eating too...and then when I uploaded it, it deleted itself!! Err!

I cannot believe you almost a whole half of year old! Ahh!

You are such a blessing in every single way, Em! We love you soooo much!

Weight: BIG - Maybe around 15-17 lbs. She was 14 lbs about 2.5 weeks ago..so, she is surely 15 lbs or more.

Mostly 6 month clothes, but you can wear some 3 month, and some bigger clothes like 9 months!

This month you did A LOT of new things!

You rolled over from your back to your belly on Wednesday, June 2o, 2012 for the first time. Then you proceeded to do it one hundred more times! You go girl!


You love to blow raspberries and giggle.

You are laughing and smiling so much! Everyone always says how good and laid back of a baby you are!

You met your Great-Nan and two of your Great-Aunts this month in PA for the first time! They looooved meeting you and soaking in some love!

You also went on your first long (2.5 hour) road trip to PA! You did great and slept almost the whole way!

You love to grab on to everything that we give you and love to pull on all your toys on your jungle mat.


You are so good at letting me know exactly what you want. I know all of your cries.

You are eating about 8 ounces every four hours during the day, and it takes you maybe ten minutes at the most. 

Your sleep schedule is still a little random at night, but I shouldn't complain too much because you do pretty well. You go to sleep at about 8pm, after drinking your last bottle and normally you will sleep until somewhere between 4-6am. Not too bad. You sometimes wake up in the middle of the night to eat and then will sleep a little later before your next bottle. If not, then you drink your bottle anywhere from 4-6am and then back to sleep right away until sometimes as late as 10am. You get up, drink 8 ounces, play, and then usually drink about 4-6 more ounces before you go to nap at 1pm until 4pm. Sometimes you sleep even later than that. You are a pretty good napper. Then you drink 8 ounces, play, have a bath, swing, bounce...ya know, the life of a 5 month old...and then to bed it is. You can fall asleep great on your own. I am so glad you also don't depend on me to fall asleep. What a blessing that is! 


You LOVE your baths and love to kick and splash just like your crazy big sisters!


You can hold your head up so good now and look all around.

You love your binki and your pink bear lovie. You also love your pink glow-octopus that plays lullabys.

You also have noticed the TV this month and love watching it with your sisters.

We also put you in the exersaucer for the first time this month and you LOVE it!


You love sucking on your tongue and making funny sucking noises.

You love chewing and sucking on your fingers.

You can grab your feet now and love it!

You are constantly cooing and talking. It's by so far sooooo sweet!

You still love your swing so much and Natalee gets soooo jealous!

We love you more than you could ever imagine! You are such a blessing to our family!

Happy 5 Months Emily!

Our 2nd Anniversary and Our 5 Months Olds!

I cannot believe today we have been married for 2 years and the girls are 5 months today also! So exciting!

We had such a busy, busy, busy weekend attending my best friend's wedding! It was an absolutely beautiful wedding and I promise their will a post coming soon on it once I upload all of our photos! But here's a sneak peak....

 The girls had lots of quality time with their Nana, Gammy and Grandpa since I have been so busy lately.

To be completely honest, I could care less about writing this post...I am THAT tired, but it's a double important day! I know that I didn't write on the blog about the girls 4 Month Post, but not to worry, it's in their baby books loaded with details. I do have a 5 Month Post coming with lots of lovely details so I am looking forward to updating everyone on how they are doing. They are changing every day and we just love each month more than the last!

So, HAPPY 5 MONTH BIRTHDAY sweet, sweet girls!

And, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my one and only love! I cannot believe how much we have changed in just two short years. Three beautiful little ladies as a token of our love. I love you so much and love our little family more than anything in this world. You are my best friend and the one I turn to first no matter what. Thank you for being everything I always wanted in a man and I look forward to the many, many, many years with you by my side. I love you, Tim, Happy Anniversary!


Apparently, we don't take very good photos after a few drinks and really late at night! Oh well!
