Happy 2nd Birthday Emily June!

January 26, 2014 you turned TWO YEARS OLD! Where has the time gone?

You are such a little spunky girl. We love you so much and you are truly proving to be your own girl, following a lot of what your sisters do but then also beating to your own drum and letting everyone know it! You can be very challenging and defiant at times and often Daddy and I say that you are more persistent than the triplets combined. You can be very stubborn and easily your favorite word to say is "no"...

But you are also one of the sweetest and most cuddly girls we know. You love to help and often do so well listening to directions.

You are wearing size 4 or 5 shoe (still have little feet!).
You wear size four diaper.

You wear anywhere from 18 months to 2T in clothing.
You are solid, and very strong.

Your eyes are brown.
Your hair is getting darker each month that goes by and is brown.

You weigh 25.6 lbs (60%) and are 34 inches tall (50%). (02.12.14)
Everything at your two year check up was perfect...

You love milk and water. You drink so much water!
You love all fruits and veggies, there isn't anything you won't eat.
You aren't a fan of meat yet, though.

You love all sweets and often finish your sisters food.
You feed yourself everything, with very little help from Mommy or Daddy.

You love your naps and sleep all night in your crib still. You have only climbed out a few times and that was it, surprisingly.
You have a pink lovie and a pooh bear that are your favorite things.

You can pretty ask for anything you want and you speak so well for your age.
But, when you throw a temper tantrum, you do it with might.

You are really smart. You pick up things so fast. You love to watch your sisters but often times you just find your own way to do something and that is it. You love to color and do arts and crafts but you also love to throw the ball and play tee-ball!

You love to be outside and go for rides in the car. You love the park, slides, the sand box and the swings. You would swing all day if you could, just like your sisters.

You love animals and you definitely love "horsies" the most!

Your 2nd Birthday Party

You also had a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party because you love Minnie Mouse so much, just like your sisters.

You had lots of friends and family come to your party and you loved being the center of attention! We had some activities and of course lots of good food!

Nana with all her granddaughters!

Your sweet cousin, Alexandra!

Romp n' Roll Fun!

This past Sunday I took the girl's to Tristan's 1st birthday party. Tristan is the grandson of my close friend, Diana. (Background- Her daughter and my sister went to school together from Kindergarten on up, so her and her husband and my parents are friends. She had hard pregnancies with her children and she became someone I could talk to when on bed rest with the triplets. She visited me on bed rest, in the hospital before their delivery and has been someone I can count on, turn to and trust. When we used to live in Poolesville, she was one of very few that would come over and see the girls and someone I could ask many questions too-since she works at a Pediatrician's office.) So I wasn't going to miss this party and have a chance to take the girls to a fun place they had never been before, called Romp n' Roll. It was seriously so much fun! I wish that place was in my basement!

I'll let the photos do the talking. We had a blast and I think it's safe to say that my girls are going to be gymnasts and/or basketball players for sure...now if only I had enough money to enroll them each in the gymnastics classes...(only a small fortune)! They loved swinging from the bars and climbing over the obstacles. I really couldn't believe how good they were at everything, for never seeing some of the stuff before...they definitely pick up new things very quickly and really have no fear.

Sorry for the overload of photos...they just had so much fun!

FYI - Maddy - #1, Claire - #2, Natalee - #3

I could not believe how good Claire was at making baskets and I was so sad that Tim wasn't there to see her! She did awesome and he would have been SO proud of his almost-three-year-old shootin' hoops so well!

This photo is AWESOME! I hope when the girls are in high school and all playing basketball on the Varsity team, I can look back at this photo and say, "I knew they would be good players, just look at them at two?!!!!" And I love the pig-tails too...

Two of three triplets for sale.....

Contemplating - Which one of my sisters should I smack first with this paddle?!

It's safe to say Claire and Maddy were obsessed with this trampoline! I need to get one for them for sure!

She was saying, "Momma, WATCHHHHHHH"

Can we say...hoarder!

My girls were obsessed with the juice. They NEVER get juice so of course when they can have, they do not put it down for a second!
