First of all, I am 4 weeks and 1 day past my hysterectomy! And praise Jesus, the results came back NO cancer past stage 0. AMEN!!!!! I have a very detailed post on the whole ordeal coming. It's been an up and down recovery but really not too bad.
The girls are all great! Boy, are they all growing so fast! I cannot believe Anna will be SIX months this month! Seriously, where is the time going? Not to mention, the triplets will be THREE next month! Like, OH MY GOSHHHHH! They have been enjoying lots of little preschool projects and learning so much each day that passes. They are speaking in full sentences and giving us attitude that we thought we wouldn't see until they were teens!
If we are "friends" on facebook, then you are well aware of why I haven't been blogging. Long story short, I found out that someone was stealing my photos and my story and claiming it as their own. Since this has happened to me numerous times, I have started to think of ways that my children can and will be protected. I don't write this blog for anyone but my children. It is a document of their childhood and it's just the way I choose to do it. So, I am pretty sure that our blog will be going private. I think January 1st 2014, will be the day. I have already received hundreds of emails of those that want to keep reading the blog and I will accept anyone that gives me a good explanation of either how they know me, my husband, our extended family, ect. I just want to keep the random strangers out. and hopefully help with the protection of my babies. There is nothing I won't do to protect them. I have a whole post on all of this coming so hopefully my story can help others stay protected! I will not be posting photos on my facebook very regularly of my children either. The lengths this person went to with my story and photos was mind blowing and it started with facebook. Facebook is a beast and I have a very strong love/hate relationship with it.
I have been busy already preparing for Christmas and of course the girl's birthday party! The time just flies by! I have a list about a mile long that I need to get done!
I also want to say thank you to all the prayers, thoughts, texts, emails, and meal that we received over the past few months. It has meant so much to me that we were thought of!
I'll leave you with some cute photos of my monkeys! These were taken just the other day! They are getting SO big!
I am a random stranger, but a nice one. :) I understand how you feel and think you're doing the right thing going private. I only see your blog occasionally, through another blog I regularly view. While I still have the chance, I thought I'd let you know you have a beautiful family and I've enjoyed your blog the few times I've had a chance to view it. Blessings to you all!
ReplyDeleteI'm also a random stranger who came across you're blog from someone else's. I love to continue reading about your journey if you'd let me!! Your girls are precious!!!
ReplyDeleteRandom stranger here too :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy reading about your family, don't remember how I first came across your blog but I've been reading for quite a while now. Beautiful family. Totally understand your need for privacy.. But I will miss reading your blog!
I came across your blog quite a while ago before you had your 4th child (2nd pregnancy) and i've enjoyed watching your family grow! Hope to continue reading!
ReplyDeleteYour story has captured my heart. I found you through another blog also. I am a mom, grandma and wife and a retired teacher. Blessings on your family and you do have to take care to protect them.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a random stranger, but have been reading your blog for over a year now, you have such a beautiful family, and I will honestly very much miss hearing how you all are doing. I totally understand your need for privacy though, and I'm so sorry that some creep exploited your family! Take care, I will very much miss reading your blog though!
ReplyDeleteLots of Love,

I am a random stranger and I've been reading your blog since before the Triplets were born! I have loved seeing your family grow. I completely understand why you feel the need to go private. I wish you the very best raising all these little ladies!
ReplyDeleteI'm another random stranger. It's weird that when I read you were going to take your blog private it made me just a little sad because I've been reading your blog for a year and feel a little invested in your story. I totally understand though. I have a blog that I'm pretty sure only my mom reads so I decided to take it private too to also protect my little ones. It's a scary world out there. I have prayed for your health and will continue to do so. I really wish you the best!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!! I started reading when you were pregnant with Emily and searching for a quad stroller and shared your blog on the Totswap page. I am a fellow Frederick mama and mom to multiples- set of twins. I had 4 kiddos in 4.5 years- they are 8, 5 and 4 now (the 4 year olds are the twins). I said "HI" to you at one of the pick-ups at the Frederick Totswap and like a complete dork all I could think of to say was "I love your blog." I hope to be able to keep reading, but I totally understand your need to take your blog private!
ReplyDeleteOh my, they look so big in those outfits! Emily just thinks she's #4 of the 3 :)
ReplyDeleteI am like those commenters before me, just a mom who has been reading your blog for over a year. Sorry to hear that you've had issues with people stealing your identity, and I totally understand wanting to protect your family. I will miss seeing your sweet pictures.
ReplyDeleteI am also a random stranger. I came across your blog from another fellow blogger! I began reading your blog after you had the triplets! Such sweet girls you have! I am also a social worker (currently pursuing my masters) and have 2 children. Your story is amazing and I enjoy reading! I understand your need for privacy but I sure will miss your sweet pictures!
ReplyDeleteI'm also a stranger and have been reading your blog for years. I enjoy reading about your girls and think you're doing a wonderful job raising them. I'll miss your blog, but I understand that protecting your children is incredibly important.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a random stranger. I began reading your blog when you were pregnant with the triplets and since then your blog has become one of my favorites.
