Stats (15 Months):
Weight: 21.6 lbs (50th%)
Height: 33.5 inches (75%)
You are really starting to talk. You can say, hi/bye-bye (while waving), Momma, Dadda, uh-oh, more, ba-ba (bottle), yay and you just started saying no and Barney. She has started putting two words together, like when she finds something on the floor, she will bring it to me and say, "uh-oh Momma" and when asking for more food she has "more Momma" down pat!
You can make the sound for a duck, monkey, cat, and lion. So cute!
She is such a DIVA! She is seriously throws herself down, kicks, shakes her head and screams when she doesn't agree with what I think she should be doing or when she doesn't get her way. She has more sass in her then the triplets combined!
She drinks out a big girl sippy-cup and has for months.
She can climb the stairs in less than a minute, but she can't go down yet.
She is taking between 1-6 steps at a time while not holding on (written on 04.08.13). Every day that goes by she is getting more and more brave. As of 04.30.13 she is walking on her own. She woke up from nap and boom was like a different child, walking everywhere! :) Now, 04.16.13, she is a pro. Walking everywhere! Bending down to pick stuff up with one hand or both hands and easily just keeps going. She doesn't even have to go over to the wall to help her stand anymore, she just stands up where ever she is! Big girl!
She is by far the biggest Momma's girl. She is the one I am most worried about when Anna-Kate comes along in a three weeks. She just loves her Momma and most of the time prefers me to anyone else. She loves to pat my back and lay her head on my shoulder (when I say, "give Momma a huggie" and I cherish those few seconds. She loves to hold her bottle and be rocked and stare into my eyes.
She loves to give her dolls huggies. I say, "give your dolly a hug" and she does while saying "awww". It's so cute!
She has a pink lovie that she somewhat likes and a winnie-the-pooh that she likes too. Those are her two "lovies". She loves the tags on the pooh bear just as I did on my pooh, before they fell off (because I rubbed them to death).
Her and Natalee share a room for now, until I want to put AK in with Emily and then Natalee will go in with the other big girls. For now, they are both great nappers and sleepers.
She drinks two 4 ounce bottles a day. She is not lacking at all on the calories, so she only gets a 4 ounce bottle at nap and one at night.
She has the littlest feet still and we love to call her "little foot" (from The Land Before Time). And she still has big thighs...sorry Ems, it's true!
She is known still has Emme, Meme, Emmy, Ems, Emmy Lou, but mostly we call her either Emily or Meme. All the girls call her Meme.
You love music and love to dance! In the car, in the house, you love hearing music and dancing along! Never stop dancing, sweet girl!
You throw the biggest tantrums. You have more sass and temper than the triplets put together!
Loves Barney, Calliou, Elmo...pretty much everything and anything your sisters like.
Loves the bath.
Isn't much for car rides. You actually whine more than the other girls ever did/do! You constantly throw anything we give you. And you DO NOT like the wind blowing in your face if we have the windows down...just like your Momma!
You love to dig in mulch, dirt, whatever, every time we are at the park.
You love pb&j. You don't like hot dogs (although since I have been updating this over the last few months, you now do eat hot dogs) or lunch meat of any kind still. Loves all veggies and all fruit. Loves yogurt and applesauce. You also love chicken, spaghetti, pork, all breakfast foods, pretty much anything. We call you the garbage disposal, just like your Daddy.
You're not very patient. When it's getting close to lunchtime, oh goodness, you can be a pill. And when it's time for bed-time, Lord, watch out, the sass comes out. We are working on this. I call it "the singleton syndrome".
You constantly take your bibs off at meal time. And you constantly throw everything out of your crib each nap-time and night-time and you think it's so funny.
You still get a binki if you're fussy and in your crib. Your sisters are very good at finding them and bringing them to you.
You love to play with everything. Doesn't really matter what it is. If you see your sisters playing with something, you want to do the same. Although, they are less than thrilled to have you in their space and toys, so all day you hear a lot of, "no no meme, mine!" Your sisters are quick to put you in your place and remind you that you are a "baby"....and well, you don't like that!
You are wearing very few 12 month clothes, mostly 18 months, 18-24 months and some 24 month clothing. You have a big butt and thighs! :)
Your shoes are size 3, and when I get you some new ones they will most likely be size 4.
You wear size 4 diapers.
You do not like to wear bows on your head. I tried to put one on for these pictures and you were not having it and actually told me "no".
Dark brown eyes and brown hair. In the sun, I see so much red in your hair, which I love!!
You have 12 teeth and just recently your back molars (top and bottom) came through. It was a rough time for us all.
We love you so much Meme-girl!
She looks so much like the triplets! Hoping she takes to the new baby ok for you!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable! I can't believe she has 12 teeth . . . my 15 month old (boy) only has 6!
