The girls did really good. They LOVED the hayride and the animals. There were a lot of animals and they loved going around and feeding some of them hay. Natalee and Madelynn especially loved the hay, which is strange for Natalee because she hates anything regarding outdoors, except swinging and the slide.
| With our triplet friends, Coleman, Luke and Addison and Killian too! |
While we were waiting for the hayride, I had a sweet girl tap me on the arm and she had written a message on her phone that said, "I read your blog and you are an amazing mother!" (It was not only Frederick County Infant and Toddlers Fall Fest, but also The Frederick School of Deaf Fall Fest too!) Every time someone comes up to me when I am out and says that they read my blog...I am always taken back. Like, people do actually read my blog...and then recognize me in public! It makes me smile. Thank you for all that do! (And if you were that sweet lady who tapped my arm...will you please email me so I can really KNOW you!!)
We then ventured to the rubber ducky races which since it involved ducks and water, the girls LOVED it! We played with Addison, Luke and Coleman and also with another set of identical twins that we play with each week at the park. It was fun seeing so many twins and of course Meg and I with our triplets. We saw many of our teachers and therapists and many of them brought their little ones too!
We ventured around the rest of the park and skipped a couple of the things that the girls were too young for. It was really hard keeping up with all three of them when they weren't in the stroller. Up and down the hills. Oh my goodness. I had many moments where I thought I might have a heart attack!
And then the girls found the BIG slide. They LOVED this slide! Although, no matter how many times they came down, they never got that they had to go AROUND and WALK up the side to do it again. Over and over they would scream and throw a fit when they had to get up and walk around. I couldn't understand why they just couldn't get it! It was definitely a little comical! We also saw our other twin friends on the slide too, which was fun! On our way out, I saw the cutest 3 month old twin girl/boy! Oh my goodness, they were so cute! I think I saw at least between 5-10 sets of twins throughout the two hours there!
On the way out, Meg took a few family photos for us! Thanks Meg!
Hoping next year will be a little easier! Once we got home, ate lunch, everyone (including Mommy and Daddy) were sound asleep in no time! Happy Fall Ya'll!
How fantastic, a festival just for kiddies!! Your girls look like they had a great time. I love their "Princess 1,2, and 3" tops.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun festival! Great family picture and I can't believe how long the girls hair is getting.
