I can barely believe I'm over halfway to the end of this pregnancy and meeting this new special little bean! With the girls, I only had 12 more weeks before I delivered them, but I am hoping this pregnancy is a "full-term" one and I make it all of the way to the end of January!
Here is my post when I was 20 weeks with the girls!
How Far Along: 20-21 weeks/5 Months! Tomorrow I will post 22 weeks!
How Big is Baby Bean: The average fetus is 6.5 inches and 10.6 ounces, about the size of a cantaloupe! The most important factor this week--baby's genitals are fully formed!!
And what did they show.......a GIRL!
Although, at our ultrasound, the bean weighed 11 ounces! Yay, for being right on target!
Weight Gain: I don't think much, if any! Maybe +2-3lbs.
Symptoms: I did have a few contractions after our trip to the hospital in the middle of the night with Madelynn (more on that coming) but I think it was just the stress of the situation! I definitely mentioned it to the doctor and he said we will watch it, but I need to start having my cervix checked regularly! I started having contractions with the girls at 17 weeks, so I am a little nervous. I am probably doing too much---imagine that!?!?!
Definitely eating more and more and my belly is growing for sure! Someone at the grocery store actually said to me, (they were selling hot dogs and water on a Saturday) "you can have one, you're eating for two!" I couldn't believe I was that obvious yet! Haha!
Emotions: Doing great! Getting excited to meet this new little baby girl! I find myself wondering in my mind of holding a new little first born baby fresh out in the world! I saw a newborn, like just a few days old the other day and I almost started crying. I asked Tim if he can believe we're going to have a new little baby again!? SO sweet and precious!
Best Moment of the Week: Feeling the bean move and kick all around! I love it!
Movement: Lots and I'm loving it! She's is quite active!
Maternity Clothes: Yes!
Stretchmarks: No more than with the girls, but my c-section scar is so itchy!
Cravings: PB&J! And of course anything Italian!!! Eating pizza, again, as I type this!
Aversions: My kiddo's diapers!!!!!! Claire's diaper made me throw up once last week! Ugh!!
Gender: A Little Miss!!!!
What I Miss: Wine and margaritas and a flat belly some days!
Sleep: Going great!
What I am Looking Forward to: It was finding out if it's a little prince or princess, but since we now know, it is Fall and all that comes with that!
