Saturday Randoms

I was going to work all day on finishing the 12 Hours of Sleep post since Nana will be here and quite a few people have emailed/asked me about it...instead Tim and I are taking peanut with us and going out to Costco and to get a new blackberry upgrade. Really, we just want somewhere to go so we can drive our new wheels. But, the new blackberry is a plus.

Nana is going to make apple dumplings today and I was dreaming of them all night. Picking up some vanilla bean ice cream on the way back. Also, having one of her signature dishes, Seafood Fettuccini for dinner...cannot wait. Fattening day of yummy food, hence the reason I have only had a cup of coffee thus far.

Totally excited for the new followers I have; welcome and please comment! I LOVE reading comments!

Already late on the girls 3 month post...ugh. Makes the perfectionist in me scream.

Our cats absolutely love the girls floor play mat with the toys hanging down. They lay on their backs and swat at the toys. I should have figured they would love it; before the girls were born, Charlie learned how to turn the "vibrate" setting on in the bouncy chair. Tim has always said that cat has half a brain, I think not.  He also knows how to get out of the locked cat door. Georgie holds it open from outside of the room (when I "lock" them up, they can go in, but can't come out) and Charlie comes out. Who knew cats were so smart?

My best friends wedding is in 7 weeks. I am also the Matron of Honor and doing the Bridal Shower in 4 weeks...so excited to get started...get started...yeah, must.get.started. The invitation came in the mail and Tim was holding it above my head and trying to open it and I was throwing a fit like a two year old. Literally stopping up and down screaming, "give it to me now, that's my best friend's wedding invite and I want to open it!!!!!"

I want to plant flowers in my garden out front and in the back. I can't wait. I LOVE planting and gardening and new mulch. And I want to clean the deck off. I hate everything that builds up when it's winter. BUT, it's suppose to snow tomorrow. Yeah, snow. Blah. It's the Cherry Blossom festival and we always go down to DC, but this year, 30 degrees and snow...LOVELY. Scratch that this year.

Oh Nana is here, apple dumplings hit my mind again. My mouth is watering.

I promise to blog or get some finished. I must, but then I just hold one of my sweet girls and get swallowed in their yummy smell.

Anyway, here are some cute photos I took of the girls yesterday morning. They LOVE their bumbos!!!! And I got Claire's smile on camera. Whahoo! She is so darn cute.
