My First Baby Gift!

Last night I went to babysit a family that I have become closer with over the past few months; they have three beautiful children. When I first walked in, the oldest son, who is 5, said, "I will be careful with you," as he put his hand on my belly. Sooo sweet!

Then the other little boy says, "we have something for you," and runs away. He brings back this little outfit that I almost melted at, and says, "this is for your babies".

I was so touched! My first real/new baby gift! It was so nice of them! I will not get used to people just buying me things, however, it is so wonderful and I am so grateful!

Let's hope there's a girl in there somewhere!!!

Tim was asleep when I came home so I cannot wait to show him this little newborn outfit when he gets home today! It's crazy to think but our babies probably won't even fit into newborn clothing when they are born, preemie is more likely going to be what they are wearing for the first few weeks, since they will be so small.

On another note, and someone doing something so nice for me...I joined the Montgomery County Parents of Multiples, which has sooo many services and resources for parents, it's such a lifesaver and I haven't even begun! A bunch of other Moms Of Multiples (MOMS) recommended a book about triplets that I wasn't able to find anywhere so on the "Lender Library" through MOM's I asked if I could borrow it and not only did the lady say yes, she insisted in bringing it to my house, even after assuring her I could pick it up. She wouldn't listen, and said this is what she does as being in charge of the Lender Library! Ok, then! Sooo nice, again!

I think I could get used to all this, but of course thanking God everyday for his strenght, wisdom, guidance, love, support to help me carry these babies day after day. I couldn't do it without my love for God. I trust him and he knows my needs. These small tokens are so appreciated and just reassure me that God is listening to my every need.

14 Weeks!

Ok, right now, I just had to say that I am shoveling mac n cheese in my mouth like it's the first time I have eaten in a year...I guess my hunger is really staring to come back. Wait, I know it's starting to come back and that excites me to no end! I want to fatten theses little peanuts up!!!

How Far Along: 14 Weeks!!

How Big are the Babies: The babies are the size of lemons, (something I can't get enough of right now either!) about 3.4 inches and 1.5 oz. Your adorable little fetuses are busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over their body's for warmth.

Weight Gain: Starting weight - 126 lbs., currently - 129 lbs.

Symptoms: Let's see this week, nausea, vomiting (1x), NOT sleeping, peeing a lot, CONSTIPATION, eating a lot more, tired (however, I am noticing more energy), ACNE (which I have NEVER had in my life until now) and still feel like my heart is going to pound out of my chest sometimes, especailly at night.

Emotions: Confused this week, related to finances though. What's new, right?!?!

--took out: something funny that happened this week--

Best Moment of the Week: Hmm, starting our registries and watching all these movies about babies, C-sections, ect. that I got from the library!

Movement: Nothing I can say this week, I just feel a lot of pressure in my tummy and it's getting bigger and harder by the day! I swear I can feel their "sacs" sometimes when I'm laying down, like a big bloated tumor in my stomach, I guess that's due to the small areas that they have since there are three, plus all my organs and such!

Maternity Clothes: Of course, except my bathing suit still.

Stretchmarks: None. :)

Sleep: Gee, do we even need to go there, since I wrote a whole post about it yesterday! NOT sleeping, end of story.

Food Cravings: Everthing and anything. I got to enjoy two really great meals out this week (thanks to my MIL) and it was so apprecaited! I get sick of eating the same stuff in the house and it was so nice to 1) not have to plan what to eat, 2) have someone else make it for me 3) eat something different and 4) be treated to dinner! It couldn't get any better! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!! As for craving anything, hmm, salad with blue cheese dressing I have been eating everynight and also orange jello with crushed pineapple in it, I can't get enough of either! AND, water with lemon in it is my new favorite thing in the world.

Gender Predictions: I'll be so happy to take this question out soon!!!! Still thinking two girls and a boy but I have moments when I think they may be all girls, and some people think that too! We will see in less than two weeks...hopefully, with the cooperation of my children.

What I Miss: Working, and not being bored. Making money. Being out of the house. The winter weather. Snow. Oh, and SLEEP!!!!

What I am Looking Forward To: Seeing family this weekend in Dover and going to the State BBQ Championship (I mean, can it get any better for a pregnant woman???)!

Weekly Wisdom: Trust in the Lord. He hears, whether you may think so or not, He always hears.

Questions: Why are breast pumps so much darn money!? Ugh! I would love to get that Medela one that is hands-free since, let's be honest, I will need my two hands plus some for a long time to come with three babies, but it's a whooping $379.99!!!!! Even the one under it is still $279.99. I don't want to buy one used either, not going to happen, unless I know the person that is, but still a maybe. What a rip off!!!

And here is the baby bump photo (taken on Monday)...I'm EXPANDING and there isn't any stoppin' it!!!!!!
