Romantic Weekend at our cabin!

This past weekend Tim and I ventured up to our cabin in Berkley Springs, WV. We both had a plan for the weekend: Tim was to cut as much firewood as he possibly could to pack in the car to bring home to our house made of straw and to pack the rest on the porch of the cabin for the wood stove and I was going to read by the fire all weekend. We both succeeded! It was such a nice weekend, just the two of us...well, and the pooch! Audrey had so much fun running in the snowy woods and helping her daddy look for squirrels to shoot. While the two of them were outside, it gave me a chance to clean up and organize around the house. We are so blessed that my dad built such a lovely place for our family! The memories that we have shared in the past and continue to share there are so close to my heart. I never want to leave!
